- Currently R.E.C.M. is funded by 12 churches, 5 WMU Organizations, and various private individuals
- R.E.C.M. has distributed over 300 Bibles
- Food Pantry served approximately 24,000
- 260,000 Pounds of Food Distributed
- 1,000 families identified and qualified to receive services
- Added additional computer training, job skills classes, computer coding, and 3D printing
- 15 individuals enrolled in the computer coding class
- 12 students enrolled in 3D printing class
- 10 students enrolled in basic computer classes, 10 students enrolled in Excel, and Word classes
- Currently have a waiting list of 10 people for the 3D printing class and coding class
- Job skills and basic tutoring is ongoing
- Building renovations were completed on the upstairs classrooms, Cordovia Baptist Church of Cordovia, AL sent a mission team to remove carpet, paint walls, and repair light fixtures. The total cost of the project was paid for by First Baptist Church of Cordovia
- Continue to partner with Gibson Station Baptist Church to provide weekend food in backpacks for students twice a month at Ewing, VA and Rose Hill, VA Schools
- Continue to partner with the Cumberland Gap Baptist Association to provide leadership and guidance for churches wishing to promote and establish compassion ministries in their communities
- Continue to provide volunteer opportunities for local schools, colleges, and universities for students to earn community service hours: 14 students participated
- Continue to serve as a conduit for mission teams wishing to provide services to the needy in our region, distribution of food, and materials
- Continue to partner with Second Harvest Food Bank and Midwest Food Bank
- Continue to provide the $1,000 student scholarship to Lincoln Memorial University
- Continue to partner with the Lincoln Memorial University Women of Service to provide food pantries on the main campus
- In 2019, R.E.C.M. assisted LMU Women of Service in establishing four more pantries to serve students at DCOM, CVM, Caylor Nursing, and DCOM (Knoxville Campus)
- Continue to partner with England Manufacturing Company to receive furniture donations for distribution to the needy
- At present day, over 25 families in our area have received furniture
- Furniture, hygiene items, and household items were collected and distributed to victims of floods, tornadoes, hurricanes, and other natural disasters in FL, LA, GA, and NC
- Coordinated with Holston Baptist Association in Morristown, TN to provide furniture to flood victims in SC
- Conducted food safety training for volunteers
- Provided 300 backpacks filled with school supplies to area children and food boxes for their families during December outreach event at R.E.C.. The event was a joint effort with churches from the Knox County Baptist Association of Knoxville, TN, Smithwood Baptist Church, Central Baptist Church Fountain City, Cedar Springs, and Fort Hill. Other churches represented were: First Baptist Church New Tazewell, Atlantus Hill Baptist Church, Midway Baptist Church, and Gibson Station Station Baptist Church.
